AMENDING THE CONSTUTION
Amendments are set in bedrock. They are designed to be extremely hard to change or remove. An amendment can never be taken out of the constitution you can only make another amendment to repeal it like we did with the 18th and 21st Amendments. An amendment has to be proposed either by 2/3 of the members of both the House and Senate or through a convention by 2/3 of the States. In order to ratify the amendment 3/4 of the state legislatures or 3/4 of ratifying conventions in the States have to approve the proposal. Another example of an amendment being ratified is the 13th AMENDMENT.
